Services
Personalized end-of-life care means just that - a care plan that you determine and adjust to meet your evolving needs and wishes. The categories below describe the main types of services in which I specialize, but are not a comprehensive list of everything you could possibly include in your plan.
The best way to decide if Edge of Life is right for you is to schedule a free 60-minute consultation, where we can discuss your needs together and determine what sort of plan could help. Please note that Edge of Life LLC focuses on preparing people to make more informed choices during terminal illness, the dying process, and bereavement. As an End-of-Life Coach and Doula, all information provided here is for educational purposes only, and is not intended to provide medical, legal, or financial advice.

Care Coordination and Advocacy
Living fully every day while dying requires you to navigate changing needs and wishes, and to coordinate multiple different caregivers and healthcare providers. By developing a comprehensive care plan I provide complementary support to hospice services and help you to maintain your autonomy and presence.
This may include:
Respite care for your friends, family, and other caregivers
Advocacy and facilitation in conversation with healthcare providers, family, friends, and chosen people
Coordinating help with household tasks and daily living - meal prep, cleaning, etc. - to allow you more time and energy for living
Companionship and a peaceful presence to support you through the transitions of end-of-life
Communication and Planning
How do you want to communicate to friends and family about your condition and your end of life plans and wishes? Who do you most want to see or speak to? How do you want to manage your online presence and digital end-of-life?
By assisting with these tasks and questions, I support clients and their caregivers through the end of life journey.
This may include:
Help composing or delivering communications - setting up virtual calls for long-distance family and friends, phone calls if video is not desired.
Organizing and preparing your online communities and social media presence for your end-of-life process and absence.
Creating a plan to help manage your energy and conserve your strength so you can be fully present with your people, and they can focus on you.
Legacy and Archive
How do you want to be remembered, and what legacy would you like to leave for your friends and family? I help clients to organize their belongings, document life stories or memories, and create durable mementos and archives that provide comfort and peace to families and friends.
This may include:
Creating video memorials or testimonials
Digital archiving of photos and other mementos for family and friends to access
Organizing photo albums, scrapbooks, and other physical documentation for legacy books
Creating and transcribing audio recordings of memories and life stories
